What is Pewter?
Pewter is an alloy of tin and small quantities of other metals such as bismuth, antimony and copper which add strength to the final product. The absence of lead in modern pewter makes it safe to use for food and drink items. It is blue white in colour and resitant to tarnish thus maintaining its unique lustre.
